Are we normal persons? answer this and check out!!!

All of us become angry, don't we? But do we allow anger to consume us so much that we can be called a type-H person suffering from chronic hostility?
Aging chronic hostility is not as simple as measuring blood pressure. But, your answer to the following question could indicate if you are at risk for a heart disease!
  1. If a lift stops for too long on another floor, do you quickly feel annoyed?
  2. Have you ever been so angry that you have hit or shoved someone?
  3. Do you always remember irritating incidents and get mad all over again?

  4. If your hair-stylist trims off too much, do you fume for days?
  5. If shop-keeper gives you the wrong change, do you assume he's trying to cheat you?
  6. Do little annoyances add up during the day and leave you frustrated?
  7. When someone cuts you off in traffic, do you flash your lights and horn your horn?
  8. Have you dropped close friends because they didn't live up to your expectations?
  9. When someone doesn't show up on time, do you find yourself planning an anger speech?
  10. Are you often irritated by other's incompetence?
Three or fewer "yes" answers :: you are cool guy!
Four to seven
:: you are normal person!
Eight or above :: Don't be angry if i tell you surely something is wrong with you!

Overcome "hollow breathing"

One striking technique to overcome hollow breathing is through deep abdominal breathing; it gives us instant energy and relaxation. Abdominal breathing is; bulge out the stomach when air is taken in, so that the diaphragm goes down into the abdominal cavity leaving more space in the lungs for air to get in.
To get instant energy, one has to inhale deeply, this could be done by closing one of the nose hole and inhale through other slowly, after reaching the maximum, soon unhold the nose; sustain and hold the breath for a while. Now close the other nose hole and release the held air slowly. By doing this; for 10-15 times we gain a instant energy in us, and we would be able to breath easily; without any hesitation.
The biological processes that takes place while doing so are; when we inhale more amount of oxygen enters our lungs. And when we hold our breath, we are allowing sufficient time to exchange blood and air inside our lungs. So more oxygen enters into our blood, and so more carbon dioxide is been released out from our blood, and so release it outside our body.
This method allows to burn the food we take and provide more energy; which is good for us, and helps us to work the whole day without tired. The incomplete burning of food leads to tiresomeness.

'Remember'- brain does

Essentially remembering is the activity of attending to present idea which are determined by the past experiences! A past event which we are able to revive as a present experience leaves a physiological change in the brain structure called memory trace.
'Reflective or habit memory' and Declarative or recognition memory'. These are the two types of memory; when the former is largely and often totally unconscious memory that underlies non assosiative learning and such as conconditionedreflexes. On other hand declarative memory is conscious and is oftern established by sngle experience or association.
The most fascinating aspect here is that declarative memory can be converted into reflective memory by constant moves and responses that by repeated trainning. Once a long term memory has been established, it can be recalled or accessed by a large number of "associtions". Another intresting aspect is the long term memory one is able to use image based on senses other other than sight , such as auditory(hearing), tactile(touch), olfactory(smell), and even gustatory(taste).

Difficult to remember!!!

"Teacher i have read this answer twenty times, but still i cant remember the answer when you ask"!. This is the dialogue we here from few of us daily when we are in class. Actually we read and re read a chapter, yet we forget it after a while. This is due to lack of attention as the experience does not make a proper impression upon us.
Normally metabolic process of brain "memory trace" tends to fade or decay with the passage of time, unless we repeat it by repeating experience. If memory trace is left undisturbed it gets consolidated and can resist interference. During the process of consolidations however, the memory trace is still susceptible to interferences from material which are learnt subsequently.
Amazingly, it is been found that we forget less in sleep; while we are awake. Some of us read a book and go to sleep, and when we wake up early morning, we can regain certain stuffs which we read before we slept.
Thus all of us have a tendency to remember all the good ones and to forget the bad side of our lives.

Technique behind gettin up early

Various changes occur in the body day and night. These changes are cyclical and occur periodically is called 'circadian rythm'. The technique behind getting up early is to set alarm in the biological clock which is in our body. It has been found by the medical units that these changes occuring periodicaly and cyclic are controlled by a center called "suprachiasmatic nuclei" in hypothamus.
This place in the brain secretes a hermone called ACTH(adreno cortic trophic harmone) whose level in the body fluctuates during day and night but in cyclic manner. Thus the level is min at night (during sleep) and max just before awakening. When there is increase in secretion of epinephrine & nore pinephrine. One of the effect of this mous sympathetic discharge is reinforcement of alert alternative state necessary for effective action causing awake.
By setting up early for a week we do allow the raise in level of ACTH to occur early at that time in the morning. Next day, ACTH level raises automatically at the same time early in the morning. By which we are able to wake up even if we dont keep an alarm in a clock, see that we get exactly at that same time.
