Difficult to remember!!!

"Teacher i have read this answer twenty times, but still i cant remember the answer when you ask"!. This is the dialogue we here from few of us daily when we are in class. Actually we read and re read a chapter, yet we forget it after a while. This is due to lack of attention as the experience does not make a proper impression upon us.

Normally metabolic process of brain "memory trace" tends to fade or decay with the passage of time, unless we repeat it by repeating experience. If memory trace is left undisturbed it gets consolidated and can resist interference. During the process of consolidations however, the memory trace is still susceptible to interferences from material which are learnt subsequently.

Amazingly, it is been found that we forget less in sleep; while we are awake. Some of us read a book and go to sleep, and when we wake up early morning, we can regain certain stuffs which we read before we slept.
Thus all of us have a tendency to remember all the good ones and to forget the bad side of our lives.

Cant they win finals???

We were very sad, its really frustrating us. After winning all the league match in the 'Kitply cup' triseries; india fails to win the final. It was a one sided match as we all knew the new Indian team was selected after 'IPL'. The team was 3 times stronger than the earlier one; we expected India to win, we were dreaming Dhoni to lift the Kitply cup. But as usually dhoni's men fails.

Lots of supporting fans were present in favour of Pakistan at Mirpur stadium. Pak won the toss and choose to bat first. Pakistan's start was not up to the mark, but they dint loose their confident. Slow and a steady partnership between Salman Butt and Younis Khan made pakistan spectators to boost up and cheer them. Fascinating century from both of them ; boarded 315 on the score board.

Our expectation dint step back us from thinking of loosing this match. The big target dint upset us; as india was having a great batting line up towards the end. But none of them were able to stand steady inside the crease for a long time. All the indian batsman were trying to keep their momentum going which ended up in a rainfall of wickets. At last Dhoni was only our hope; but, he couldn't make it. And once again dhoni lost his trophy which was deserved, and made for them. But pakistans hard work and planning were marvellous so that they clinched victory and lifted the trophy.

TIRUVALLUR- 'around me'

Atlast reached this place 'TIRUVALLUR'. Quite a big district in Tamilnadu; and a famous one. We are exactly at the capital of this district , not exactly a town but does look similar. We have been shifting our home right i was born and its still continuing. But never been in such a place; to say a peacefully place in our life. Our house is surrounded with wasteland, but lots of grass grown. At morning it would look like an bird sanctuary; where we can see all kinds of birds flying over our house. About 200m radius there we cant see any house and no disturbance.
Spots in tiruvallur; a Lord VISHNU's is present right here; which is not much popular but its fame is known all over the state. In this district there are many big and small temples having all kinds of God; to say its a holy place to be. It takes about three months to work ship all the temples present here. To tell the truth this is not a greenery or cool place to be, but the cool breeze passing on the dry land is something different; which cant be expressed in words. Have to come and feel the uniqueness of this place.

Cake- must for a fuction

Remember our friends last birthday, the first thing we did was to order a cake; attractive looking cake on which our friend's name was engraved on it. First we cut cake then we only all other programmes are been started. Now a days cakes play an leading roll in all what ever the function is; we need a cake. Its a strong fact that without a cake the function's celebration wont be up to the mark, and wont be satisfied.

Strawberry, chocolate, vanilla, plum, mango; all varieties of cake are been made. And the cakes are presented allure on our wish. Once we have to step inside a hospital pay ward as our aunt delivered a baby last night. when we stepped in we were not given chocolates; instead it was a cake. Another place when we were to play a chief guest roll, that association folks welcomed us by cutting cakes and celebrating. Cakes are really playing a great roll at functions. "Oh God!!!" what a kind of substance have we invented, really fascinating.

One's House- His dream

'Basic needs', according to human ethic there are three basic needs for a human food, shelter and cloths. 'Shelter'- its a house. One has his own idea how his house should look. The creativity from human to human, so does houses. One may think to have a simple house spending only few of his earnings; and some spend lots of their earnings to bring up a house. A house is perfectly completed until all works on it are over. Arranging the stuffs inside in a well orderly and in a neat manner, gardening the vacant space around the house. Some of us like to put a chair in those garden and relax, where some of like to have a gentle walk around the house.
'Stunning look', the paint we colour, the passion and the extra bit of substance we put increases the look and our satisfaction; and feel that we have full fill our dream. The house we build reflect our personality and our character and give us a rank in our society. That is why we hang the board"HOME SWEET HOME" in front or inside our rooms.

Revenge in the same fashion

Time to take revenge, but Anil kumble is out of the team. 3rd test match was ready to start in Kanpur. A pitch which really supports spinners. And the man who troubled Oz was back 'Ishant Sharma'.
Winning the toss S.Africa decided to bat. But only Smith and Amla bared the spin attack from the india side. I,Sharma was shinning by taking 3 stunning wickets. However S.Africa managed to score 265. S.Africans were more satisfied when thier front line fast bowlers broke the indian batting order; only till Ganguly and Laxman landed india on a safer side. Ganguly's valuable 87 made india to showcase 325 on the board. The match was well balanced; but. it was totally changed and moving in favour of india when Harbajan and sehwag wrapped up S.Africa within 121 runs. The track cracked out and the ball was spinning a lot more than the bowlers expected as well did the batsman. None of the S.African players had an idea how to play against 'baji' and 'viru'. A small target of 67 was placed in front of indian players to level the series. It made more easy and the match was really moving fast till sehwag was on crease. He fired on the S.African bowlers for sixes and fours. At last Dravid and Ganguly took india home by winning the match. It took just 3 days to finish this test match.
Perfect revenge was showcased by the indians; by leveling the series and beating S.Africa in the same manner they did ti India in the second match. It was more interesting to see winning the match as Dhoni was playing his first match as a captain.

3hundred 3rd man -- 'viru'

Indians were for this test series to start, after winning confident in them; while returning from Oz . Kumble's men were ready to face the fearless South Africans. It was all set at chennai. S.African placed a great score of 540 in 2 days, it was difficult and challenging for indians.

Sunlight started to diminish on day 2, when the man Sehwag (viru) came and opened hos account. At the end of day 2 he was unbeaten on 50. Day 3 was a day meant for viru only for him; he was on the pitch; holding his breath and his bat. He was not only fighting with the S.African bowlers, but also the hot sun; it was too hot and humid. But, he never stoped he was looking brilliant, his storks were referred from the book, and some of his play made an entry into the book of cricket. End of day 3 was nearing , without any baffling he crossed the 300 mark ; and was the third player to cross this 300 line twice in world history of cricket.He was really pumped up by his non stop able innings. We all were eagerly waiting for the 4th day to arrive, and seethe exciting moment of sehwag breaking Brian Lara's record of 400 mark. But he fails; he broke our expectations in the 1st session itself, when he gave his wicket to Nitini. Although he disappointed us, those stunning knows made our mind relaxed and more over we gave him a unique place in our mind.

Even though we had a hope of winning this match, it was drawn by the excellent batting performance showcased by McKenzie.

Cant answer now- "Why so??"

"I am not able to think, could you give me 2 more days, i will definitely find the correct solution". We can hear it more frequently sitting in class or at an official meeting. The thing is under pressure or tension where we have just a few seconds to answer a question or forward a suggestion, we are not able to get it right ; where as we do solve more intricate ones sitting at home. "Why does it happen so"?
Approaching a problem in a tension makes it more complicated, thus the mind is no fully present; absence of concentration. This is quite a mark able difficult we face in our lives. In order to overcome these kind s of problems we have to set our mind free from all other thoughts and at that particular time. Our maths sir used to say "boys! when you guys get anger or when you are hot under your collar try to solve a problem from your book." This practice made us to think when we feel pressure , we were able to overcome the above problem.
Doctors and great persons says; the more we keep our head cool, the more sharper does our brain work, implies we can think lot more, concentrate on our work and click the right solutions.
